All Fall for the Book events are free and open to the public with no tickets required, thanks to sponsors including George Mason University, Mason’s Barnes & Noble BookstoreNOVEC, the Fairfax County Public Library, and other generous businesses and organizations. Events are held on George Mason University’s Fairfax, Virginia Campus and at select locations throughout Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

Many of Fall for the Book’s venues are in neighborhoods with various fine restaurants. Additionally, Mason’s Fairfax, VA campus boasts a number of dining options, from quick fast-food to more leisurely sit-down meals. A list of on-campus restaurants can be found here, and include Starbucks, Panera, Burger King and more. The Johnson Center, Student Union Building 1 and Southside provide the most possibilities close to festival events.
