Read On with our awesome 2017 design by Jacob Scheyder
Fall for the Book is excited to reveal our 2017 festival poster design created by Jacob Scheyder, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer with a degree in film production. His work can be found in movies, on t-shirts, in educational materials and in children’s books. He has done freelance illustration and graphic design for years, and has more recently transitioned into children’s book illustration.
Scheyder said, “The inspiration behind this poster centers on how reading is able to connect us, the experience becoming infinitely more immersive when shared.” The design and Scheyder’s inspiration resonated with the festival’s mission, which is to promote reading, writing, and literacy, and to expand the role of reading and writing in our community.
Be sure to keep an eye out for our #PostersAroundTown! If you would like a free copy of the poster for your business or school, please email festival manager Suzy Rigdon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
