Steve Stinson is an artist and writer from Roanoke, Virginia, where he lives in the world’s smallest five bedroom house. He has a patient wife, tolerant children, and breathless grandchildren. Bullet Bill Dudley: The Greatest 60-Minute Man in Football (Lyon’s Press) is his second book for adults. His first book, What Would Mary Ann Do? (Taylor Trade) was co-written with Dawn Wells, who played the role of Mary Ann in the television series Gilligan’s Island. His next children’s book, Shiver Me Timbers with Squiffy & the Vine Street Boys (Muddy Boots) will come out in January 2018. He has also published two comic strips, dozens of newspaper articles and more than a thousand illustrations in print and online. Given the choice, he’d prefer to be on a bicycle.
