Judith Harris is the author of two books of poetry: Atonement and The Bad Secret, and a critical book, Signifying Pain: Constructing and Healing the Self through Writing. Her work has been published in Slate, The American Scholar, Ploughshares, Margie, Prairie Schooner, Southern Review, Cincinnati Review and the syndicated newspaper column, “American Life in Poetry.” She has taught at George Washington University and Catholic University.
