Tahra Nichols is the co-author, with Nicole Shivers, of the story collection Maddening Behaviors: Some I Hear, A Lot I See. Her published pieces include contributions in Go Girl: The Black Woman's Guide to Travel and Adventure and Father Songs. An anthropologist and researcher, she has traveled to various parts of southern Africa including Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.
