Arlette Braman

Arlette Braman is the author of six popular children’s books including Kids Around the World Create!; Kids Around the World Cook! (a recommended book by the PBS KIDS show, "Between the Lions"); Kids Around the World Play!; Celebrating Our Heritage: Traditional Native American Arts and Activites; Secrets of Ancient Cultures: The Maya; and Secrets of Ancient Cultures: The Inca. In addition to her books, she has written dozens of articles for magazines such as Scholastic’s Instructor, Time for Kids, and Homeschooling Companion. Her latest publication, “Sometimes You Just Get Lucky,” is a story in the 2005 Chicken Soup for the Soul/Healthy Living Series: Breast Cancer. She lives in the Annapolis area and indulges in her passion of sailing when she is not writing.
