Daniel Cohen
Daniel Cohen is an associate director of the ECHO (Exploring and Collecting History Online) Project in the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University. He has taught the history of science and technology, political and social thought, and religion and ethics in Yale University's Department of History, and his dissertation, which examined the values of the mathematicians who laid the foundations for modern computing, won the George Washington Egelston Prize. Cohen also has received prizes and fellowships from the Woodrow Wilson Foundation, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Pew Charitable Trusts, among others.
