Michael Capobianco

Michael Capobianco wrote Burster, a science fiction novel, and co-wrote with William Barton the controversial science fiction book Iris, Alpha Centauri, and the critically acclaimed near-future novel Fellow Traveler, as well as several magazine articles on planetology and exploration of the solar system. Their story, "The Adventure of the Russian Grave," appeared in the anthology Sherlock Holmes in Orbit. Their latest collaboration, White Light, was published in paperback in August 1999. Capobianco served as president of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America from 1996 to 1998 and is currently on its board of advisors.
