Fall for the Book is one of the oldest literary festivals in the DC Metro region. Each year, we host over 150 authors—both local and from around the country—in Northern Virginia. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the festival is run solely on donations. Now with the Support a Writer Fund, you can help some of these authors reach the festival by plane, train, or automobile!

To donate, you can make a one time or recurring monthly donation via PayPal. Click “Write a Note” and type “Support a Writer Fund.”

Donations of $50 or more will automatically add you to our premiere Friends group that a wide variety of benefits which may include tickets to VIP Receptions, free parking, and more. See our Become a Friend page for more details.

Your tax deductible donation will go exclusively to helping our writers attend Fall for the Book. All donors will be recognized on our website, and at the festival itself. Thank you for helping us continue to bring in the best writers at all stages of their careers!
